THE BOYFRIEND JEAN…
Hurrah the boyfriend jean is back in fashion!
I have found myself lately lusting after the perfect pair of boyfriend jeans…
There are so many different styles, shades of denim and variations available on the high-street at the moment.
I have featured an old pair of boyfriend jeans I bought in Oasis at least five years ago.
Finally not throwing out my old clothes has paid off!!!
The key to wearing a boyfriend jean is styling them with a pair of heels,
And I am just loving this look.
You can dress your boyfriend jeans up or down and are ideal for a relaxed going out look.
Those of you handy with a pair of scissors could even get crafty and re style a pair of old jeans with some custom rips to save money,(clever idea for those saving every penny for Christmas just around the corner).
I have styled my boyfriend jeans with a monochrome top from Zara, this is a staple top and can be used for multiple outfits.
I also incorporated my trusty trench coat perfect for mild weather.
The Trench is more of a transitional coat as it is not warm enough for winter but keeps out a slight chill and of course the rain!It is ideal for keeping in your car if your not sure if you will need a coat or not(and in Ireland you generally do!!!)
My heels are from Pennys(Primark). I featured them in a previous blog not so long ago.
They were a fantastic purchase as they go with so many different outfits and are really on trend for this A/W 13.
Pennys Zara and River Island have some great variations of the boyfriend jean available at the moment.
