I am delighted with how beautiful the pictures turned out. I designed and made my midi skirt featured in this post. I adore a polka dot print, which is reminiscent of 50’s Hollywood glamour. During the mid century the polka dot emerged as a new fun feminine print. The polka dot marked a ‘new look’ that moved away from the austerity and economic silhouette of the era. This outfit post is inspired by Hollywood 50’s glamour, transformed into modern day sartorial chic. I decided to keep my colour palette simple and opted for the ultimate structured crop top with origami style cap sleeve. This divine low cut top is from Aussie store Supre and offers the perfect mix of classy, but, provides a fun element with the back detailing. I love the monochromatic juxtaposition of a fun polka dot print combined with a sharp structure. I spent most of the shoot embracing impromptu twirling sessions to capture the full volume whilst it swirled into circles. I styled my look with the ultimate must have pointy toe shoe. This shoe is another wardrobe staple of mine that is so elegant and versatile in black suede. My handbag is from Forever New, again, I have mentioned my love for all things Forever New on numerous occasions. I opted for a deep red lip traditional of mid century glamour. I caped my look with a waterfall white blazer in an exquisite silky material. I Hope you are enjoying this beautiful Easter weekend and indulging in some gorgeous Easter Chocolate. I have opted for flowers this year instead of Chocolate as it just doesn’t have that melt in the mouth creamy texture in Australia, which, my hips are extremely thankful for.
