Beautifully sheer, bright, colourful, floral with just the right amount of pink and a MIDI. I couldn’t believe my eyes as I walked into Save The Children in Subiaco. This skirt was calling ‘buy me’ and I am thrilled I did. As you are well aware I am slightly obsessed with the midi skirt.
What I love about opshopping is the uniqueness of your find. I think of it like a treasure hunt with endless possibilities. Op shopping is even more rewarding when you find a really special piece just like this midi skirt. I know it has had a life before me. I wonder who wore it and where they might have worn it. It may of had a mundane pre Demelza’s wardrobe life but I love it as if it was brand new. The best thing about is that no one will have the same skirt as me.
As this sheer is midi slightly too sheer I picked up a lovely white slip with a lace hem to go underneath. Op shops are filled with these cute slips and I find them so handy when a skirt is a little short or transparent. I teamed my skirt with neon pink blazer. This is probably my most-coveted blazer. I am obsessed with it. I love bright colours and this blazer I use to dress up so many outfits. I decided to keep my top plain with a lovely open back, my favourite!
