Bohemian fashion continues to be a highly lusted after sartorial look. Today I decided to embrace boho chic to create my free loving hippie ensemble. Drawing influence from festival attire I opted to create my own fringe look by using a maxi dress from Save The Children. Unfortunately, I wasn’t able to find anything with fringe detailing on my op shop adventures. So instead I decided to DIY my own fringe garment. I cut up into the soft jersey of the maxi dress in strips. This idea is very simple and took minutes to create. My top is from Supre and where I drew inspiration for my crafty idea. I then found a white cardigan in my wardrobe of similar jersey and set about making it into a fringe top to complete my boho look. I highly recommend giving this idea a try to transform a tired old maxi or top into a fun on trend garment. Missed yesterday’s post? Check it out here

You certainly didn’t stay o”on the fringe” of this trend, Demelza (groan). Seriously, great idea with the maxi, but I’ll be giving the three layered approach a miss as I don’t think I’d carry it off as effortlessly as you have.x
